Zephanaiah 2:1-3

Gather together, gather together,
O shameful nation,
before the appointed time arrives
and that day sweeps on like chaff,
before the fierce anger of the LORD comes upon you,
before the day of the LORD's wrath comes upon you.
Seek the LORD , all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the LORD's anger.

It is important to keep the Lord in your thoughts at all times. This includes times of political decision.
Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land..." All of God's children must remember to do not what you want, but what the Lord asks of you.
In this time of tremendous responsibility, do not be afraid to rely on God for the answers.

Song of Songs 6:4-9

You are beautiful, my darling, as Tirzah,
lovely as Jerusalem,
majestic as troops with banners.
Turn your eyes from me;
they overwhelm me.
Your hair is like a flock of goats
descending from Gilead.
Your teeth are like a flock of sheep
coming up from the washing.
Each has its twin,
not one of them is alone.
Your temples behind your veil
are like the halves of a pomegranate.
Sixty queens there may be,
and eighty concubines,
and virgins beyond number;
but my dove, my perfect one, is unique,
the only daughter of her mother,
the favorite of the one who bore her.
The maidens saw her and called her blessed;
the queens and concubines praised her.

This is the feeling I get every time I look at Krystal. She is a beautiful servant of God, and she deserves all that I can give her, and more.

Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.

How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD ,
for he has been good to me.

I find this to be most fitting as of this writing. Not my life, but those of my friends have been disrupted by severe torment and trial. I urge you, do not stray from the protection of God. For He alone can save you in time of extreme adversity. Please know that I pray for you, that you may find the strength to overcome these obstacles.

Proverbs 23:22-25 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him. May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!
This is saying that your good works in God does not only benefit those who you aim to help, but your mother and father too. This ties in with "Love thy Father and Mother".

Proverbs 24:17-18 Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice, or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from him.
This is reminding you that the Lord does not punish your enemy for your 'entertainment'. Rather, He punishes them because they have sinned against Him by plotting against you. When you gloat, the Lord sees that you do not act according to His Law, and thus you are no closer to Him than your enemy.

Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.
This is an important warning. It is saying that if you do not practice self control, you may lose the strength that the Lord gave you, because of your sins. It is when our thoughts return to the realm of Man that we lose sight of the Lord.
